The first Labor Day in the United States was celebrated Tuesday, September 5, 1882 in New York City by the Central Labor Union. By 1885, the holiday had moved to the first Monday of September and was celebrated in many industrial centers around the country. In 1894, Congress passed the law designating the national holiday.
To let our hardworking staff relax and enjoy time with their families, Industrial Bolting Technologies will be closed for Labor Day. We will reopen at the regular time on September 4, 2018.
